Support to the rural entrepreneurs to Scale up

In a gesture of supporting the needy, SSM has extended a helping hand to the four young entrepreneurs from Sagroli village, who have shown a sense of hard work and determination to succeed under self employment, if a helping hand is lent.

On the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of “Savitribai Phule’, on 4th January, SSM’s representatives have handed over financial aid to the four.

1. Chandrakant Gaikwad - an Auto Rikshaw driver - Needed support to repair his old Auto rickshaw, rather than purchasing a new one.

2. Raju Padamwar - A small construction contractor, needed support to purchase construction tools and equipment, presently he brings it on rent, that was taking much of his income.

3. Manik Ulgadde - Runs a small cutlery shop in Sagroli village, wanted to scale-up with an ice-cream parlor. needed support to purchase a chilling machine (deep freezer).

4. Vishwanath Girgaonkar - owns a small shop of chappals & shoes. needed support for show case furniture and some new material.

SSM has extended such support to 15 such youth to stand on their own , while the severe drought condition has rendered village life into a hell.
